10 years anniversary

K:13-Scenekunst (formerly Kompani 13) is celebrating its 10-year anniversary as an independent performing arts ensemble in Bergen in autumn 2023, and in connection with this organized a celebration where we both celebrated ourselves and our contacts, but wanted to look ahead in order to continue our work for new and exciting performing arts. We celebrated ourselves as a prominent stage company in Bergen, but also as one that wants to give something to the performing arts field in Bergen, and at the same time keep an open door to a general audience - with both art and knowledge dissemination.

TOWER OF BABEL/PLANET EARTH/GAME OVER/RESET

Tower of Babel/Planet earth/Game over/Reset
- an interactive adventure for young people aged 13-16, developed by artists from five European countries.

The action takes place sometime in the future, after the climate has collapsed. Humans live like animals in small tribes, scattered across the earth. 32 young people are admitted through four different entrances and become part of each tribe. The actors take the participants on an interactive journey where they take part in the action and have to make real choices and decisions together during the performance. The young people help decide how the performance develops and how it ends. For the participants, it will be like moving inside a computer game where actors guide them through the scenography.

ROMEO & JULIET

The performance Romeo and Juliet engages the audience by using  simple methods.

Romeo and Juliet is the most famous play in history and the strongest love story we know. The play problematizes how stupid and unnecessary war is, when love, understanding and friendship are in fact always a possibility.
